The Kit
Very nice molding.
Part 34 was actually broken.
Not a problem since this part is not needed for this kit.
(Just shows that even Wingnut Wings are not infallible)
The largest sprue, -actually two sprues stuck together.
Counting five propellers so far.
Plenty to practice wood propeller painting on..

Same sprue, reverse side.
Engine parts and multiple propellers.
This engine sprue is Wingnut Wings standard Daimler-Mercedes D.III/IIIaĆ¼ engine, common across multiple kits.
Several parts will not be used (this is the sprue where part 34 is broken)
Again, the detail and crispness is perfect.
Reverse of engine sprue
Fuselage sprue

Wings and control surfaces

Clear sprue, Two windscreens. That's it.

Comes with a little bit of photoetch:
machine gun cooling jackets and seatbelts.

There are some seriously tiny pieces in this kit..
Seat cushion.
A bit of shading should make this quite realistic.

Interesting place to put the ejector pins..
Not ruining the interior planking one bit.
